Prices
All prices are inclusive of 25% VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payment
Payment must be made immediately following the initial consultation with our advisor, and the agreed-upon amount will be charged via Mobilepay for immediate payment. Simple Family Law also accepts credit card payments by special agreement, which will be charged during the initial consultation with our advisors.
Delivery
Simple Family Law will send a draft of the legal document for digital approval within 2-4 weeks from the time our advisor has spoken with you. We send your draft online, via our UK GDPR-compliant and digitally encrypted sending platform GetAccept.
Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to this order as we have already commenced the preparation of the legal service during our meeting, with customer approval. Therefore, the delivery of the legal service has begun.
You have accepted the offer and price for the service we are to provide in writing, which has been made according to your specifications or has a clear personal touch, in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Contracts Act § 18, paragraph 2, no. 3.
In practice, this means that your right of withdrawal expires when the service is fully delivered. You retain your right of withdrawal while the work or delivery is ongoing.
If you have consented to the work or delivery beginning but later wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, be aware that we will charge a reasonable fee for the work already delivered. See more information in the section below: Refund of Purchase Price.
Refund of Purchase Price
If you cancel your purchase, you will receive a refund. However, if you have consented to the work or delivery beginning but still wish to cancel, be aware that we will charge a reasonable fee for the work already delivered. Simple Family Law’s hourly rate is 1,600 GBP incl. VAT.
Warranty
Consumer law applies to product purchases, but not services. This means that, in principle, you do not have a 2-year warranty. However, if you are dissatisfied with the service, you can contact us at contact@simplefamilylaw.co.com.
Liability Insurance
Simple Family Law has taken out liability insurance with the following terms: Professional liability: 200,000 GBP per claim and in total per insurance year for legal advice provided by Simple Family Law.
Limitation of Liability
Simple Family Law’s potential liability is limited to the insurance sums stated above. In addition to this monetary limitation, Simple Family Law is not responsible for consequential damages, including loss of operation, data loss, loss of profit, goodwill, image, etc., or other forms of indirect loss.
